Considering last year’s low sales figures and the challenging market situation, a comparison with April 2023 and April 2024 provides a more realistic picture. In April 2023, 1,933 passenger cars were registered, while in April 2024 the figure was 1,743. This shows that compared to 2023, the market is at a similar level, but approximately 10% higher than in 2024.

BMW recalls nearly 500 vehicles in Estonia

BMW has issued a recall for certain vehicles manufactured between 2020 and 2024 due to a potential starter failure. The reason for the recall is possible wear of the starter solenoid (magnetic switch) beyond a critical limit. Over time, this may lead to a situation where the vehicle fails to start. In extreme cases, a short circuit may occur in the starter, which could result in overheating. As a preventive measure, BMW advises not to leave vehicles affected by the recall unattended with the engine running.
