Ahead of Motor Weekend 2026, taking place on June 26–27 at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds, the public will get a glimpse into the extraordinary world of one of Estonia’s best-known custom motorcycle builders. Fredy owns more than 100 Harley-Davidson V-Rod motorcycles, making his collection one of the most remarkable of its kind in Europe.

While most people have a sofa and television in their living room, Fredy’s home resembles a private motorcycle museum. His passion is focused entirely on the Harley-Davidson V-Rod, a model produced between 2002 and 2017 and widely regarded as one of the most unique motorcycles ever built by Harley-Davidson.

“I have more than 100 Harley-Davidson V-Rods in my living room,” says Fredy. For him, these machines are not just motorcycles—they represent his life’s work, passion, and the foundation of an international career.

Estonian Custom Motorcycles Reaching Customers Worldwide

Over the years, Fredy has become a recognized name in the global custom motorcycle scene. His motorcycles and custom parts have found their way to customers from Alaska to Hollywood, from Japan to Dubai, and from Finland to Ireland.

In addition to complete custom builds, he ships nearly a thousand self-designed motorcycle parts every year to more than fifty countries.

His journey began in 1996 when his grandfather Kalju Kriisa gifted him his first motorcycle, an IZ Jupiter 2. That single gift opened the door to a lifelong passion that would eventually become an internationally respected profession.

From a Small Estonian Town to the Global Custom Motorcycle Scene

Fredy learned the fundamentals of motorcycle mechanics under the guidance of local motorcycle enthusiast Madis Muru. Later, former special forces operator Jaanus Karm introduced him to the world of Western motorcycles.

His career eventually took him to Harley-Davidson dealerships in Austria and Dubai. In 2007, he returned to Estonia following a diagnosis of throat cancer. What could have been the end of a career instead became the beginning of a new chapter.

Today, Fredy works on projects worth hundreds of thousands of euros.

“I currently have three projects in progress with a combined budget of nearly €200,000. The biggest challenge is not money or manufacturing, but creating something the world has never seen before,” he explains.

According to Fredy, no two motorcycles leave his workshop alike, and every new build must surpass the previous one.

Harley-Davidson V-Rod – One of the Brand’s Most Unique Models

The Harley-Davidson V-Rod attracted worldwide attention when it was launched. Unlike traditional Harley-Davidson motorcycles, the V-Rod featured a liquid-cooled V-twin engine developed in cooperation with Porsche engineers.

Today, the V-Rod is considered one of the most distinctive models in Harley-Davidson history, and well-preserved examples have become highly sought-after collector’s items.

Motor Weekend 2026 Brings Together the Entire Automotive and Motorcycle Community

Motor Weekend 2026 will take place on June 26–27 at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds, bringing together automotive and motorcycle enthusiasts from across Estonia.

Visitors will be able to explore cars, motorcycles, trucks, classic vehicles, racing machines, and the latest industry innovations. The event will also feature demonstrations, competitions, exhibitions, food, and entertainment.

One of the highlights of the event will undoubtedly be Fredy’s extraordinary Harley-Davidson V-Rod collection, offering a rare look into the world of custom motorcycle craftsmanship.
