With the new Peaq, Škoda is taking its most ambitious step yet into the electric vehicle market. The brand's first fully electric large SUV offers seating for up to seven passengers, more than 640 kilometres of driving range, and dimensions that surpass even the current flagship Kodiaq

The new Peaq becomes the flagship of Škoda’s electric model range and introduces several technologies never before seen in a Škoda production vehicle. These include flush door handles, an electrochromic panoramic roof, bidirectional charging, and a premium audio system developed in collaboration with Sonos.

5 things that make the Škoda Peaq stand out

  1. More than 640 km of driving range
  2. Seating for up to seven passengers
  3. 935-litre luggage compartment
  4. The largest panoramic roof in Škoda history
  5. Bidirectional charging and one-pedal driving

Is the Škoda Peaq an electric Kodiaq?

In many ways, the Peaq can be considered the electric alternative to the Kodiaq.

The new model measures 4,874 mm in length, making it 116 mm longer than the Kodiaq. Its wheelbase stretches to 2,965 mm, providing significantly more interior space across all three seating rows.

Even the third row offers generous space for adult passengers, while maintaining practical luggage capacity.

The largest luggage compartment ever offered by Škoda

In its five-seat configuration, the Peaq provides an impressive 935 litres of cargo capacity, the largest boot ever offered in a Škoda vehicle.

In addition, a 37-litre front trunk (frunk) offers convenient storage for charging cables and smaller items. The cabin also includes more than 33 litres of additional storage compartments.

More than 640 km on a single charge

Built on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB+ platform, the Škoda Peaq is available with two battery options.

The entry-level version features a 63 kWh battery, while the larger 91 kWh battery is the biggest battery pack ever fitted to a Škoda electric vehicle.

Model,Power,Drive,Range

  • Peaq 60 150 kW Rear-wheel drive Over 450 km
  • Peaq 90 210 kW Rear-wheel drive Over 640 km
  • Peaq 90x 220 kW All-wheel drive Over 610 km

The Peaq 90 accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 7.1 seconds, while the all-wheel-drive Peaq 90x completes the sprint in just 6.7 seconds.

Fast charging in less than 30 minutes

Both battery versions support high-power DC charging.

The 63 kWh battery charges from 10% to 80% in 27 minutes, while the larger 91 kWh battery reaches the same level in just 28 minutes.

The Peaq also supports bidirectional charging, allowing energy stored in the battery to power external devices, homes, or even feed electricity back into the grid.

Flush door handles arrive in a Škoda for the first time

The Peaq introduces several firsts for the Czech manufacturer.

For the first time in a production Škoda:

  • Flush door handles
  • Electrochromic panoramic roof with Dynamic Shade Control
  • Vertical infotainment display
  • Sonos premium sound system
  • One-pedal driving

The retractable door handles improve aerodynamics and help reduce energy consumption while enhancing the vehicle’s modern appearance.

The largest panoramic roof in Škoda history

One of the most impressive innovations is the panoramic roof, covering more than 2.1 square metres of glass.

The roof uses electrochromic technology, allowing passengers to electronically adjust transparency levels. The system is divided into nine independently controlled sections.

A lounge on wheels

Comfort was one of the key priorities during the development of the Peaq.

The optional Relax Package includes:

  • Ventilated and massage front seats
  • Electrically adjustable leg rests
  • Wellbeing application
  • Folding table
  • Integrated cushions
  • Sonos premium sound system with 16 speakers

The system delivers 755 watts of power and was developed specifically for the Peaq.

New vertical display and Android-based infotainment

The Peaq is the first Škoda to feature a vertically mounted 13.6-inch touchscreen.

The Android-based infotainment system supports apps such as Spotify and YouTube and offers extensive personalization options. The MyŠkoda app enables remote charging control, cabin pre-conditioning, and Plug & Charge functionality.

Up to 2,000 kg towing capacity

Towing capability remains important for many SUV buyers.

The all-wheel-drive Peaq 90x can tow up to 2,000 kg with a braked trailer, while rear-wheel-drive versions offer towing capacities of up to 1,800 kg.

Škoda’s new electric flagship

The Peaq marks a significant milestone in Škoda’s electric vehicle strategy. Combining a spacious seven-seat interior, record-breaking cargo capacity, more than 640 kilometres of range, and several innovative technologies, it becomes the most advanced and luxurious electric vehicle ever produced by the brand.

With the Peaq, Škoda enters direct competition with models such as the Kia EV9, Hyundai Ioniq 9, and other large electric family SUVs. If its official range figures translate into real-world driving conditions, the Peaq could become one of the most important new electric SUVs to arrive in Europe in the coming years.
