The new Škoda Epiq combines an affordable price with up to 440 km of driving range

Škoda has unveiled the all-new fully electric Epiq, a compact, practical and affordable crossover SUV that expands the brand’s electric vehicle lineup. The new Epiq is designed to combine the efficiency of an electric vehicle, a spacious interior and Škoda’s signature Simply Clever solutions, while offering a driving range of up to approximately 440 kilometres.

Škoda’s most affordable electric car

The new Epiq will become Škoda’s most affordable fully electric model, with the base version expected to reach a price level comparable to the combustion-engine Kamiq in many markets. The model is based on the new-generation MEB+ electric platform and is the first front-wheel-drive electric Škoda.

According to Škoda, the Epiq is an important addition to the brand’s EV lineup, helping make electric mobility accessible to a wider customer base while strengthening the company’s position in the rapidly growing compact electric SUV segment.

Modern Solid design and new light signature

The Epiq is the first production Škoda model to fully adopt the new Modern Solid design language. Its exterior is defined by minimalist lines, the glossy black Tech-Deck Face front end and a new T-shaped light signature that will also appear on future Škoda SUV models.

Aerodynamics have been given significant attention, resulting in a drag coefficient of just 0.275. This is achieved through active cooling flaps, aerodynamic wheels, an optimized underbody and specially designed spoilers and airflow-guiding elements.

Wheel sizes range from 17 to 19 inches.

Compact on the outside, spacious on the inside

Although the Epiq belongs to the compact crossover SUV segment, it offers excellent space utilization. The luggage compartment has a capacity of 475 litres, making it one of the largest in its class. In addition, the front trunk or “frunk” provides 25 litres of extra storage space for charging cables and smaller items.

The interior also follows the Modern Solid design philosophy and features:

Recycled and animal-free materials

For the first time, Škoda uses exclusively animal-free materials in the Epiq, while all textile seat upholstery is made from 100% recycled polyester fibres.

Up to 440 km of range and fast charging

The Škoda Epiq is available with two battery versions and three power outputs:

Epiq 35 – 85 kW
Epiq 40 – 99 kW
Epiq 55 – 155 kW

The flagship Epiq 55 offers:

Up to approximately 440 km of driving range
290 Nm of torque
A top speed of 160 km/h

Using DC fast charging, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in around 24 minutes. An 11 kW AC charger is included as standard.

The Epiq also supports bidirectional charging:

V2L (Vehicle-to-Load)
V2H (Vehicle-to-Home)
V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid)

This allows the vehicle battery to power external electrical devices or even support home energy usage.

First Škoda with full one-pedal driving

The new Epiq is the first Škoda EV to offer full one-pedal driving. In B mode, the vehicle can be controlled using only the accelerator pedal – when the driver lifts off the pedal, the car slows down smoothly while recovering energy back into the battery.

This makes urban driving more comfortable and improves energy efficiency.

Advanced driver assistance systems as standard

Even in standard specification, the Epiq includes:

Front Assist
Lane Assist
Side Assist blind-spot monitoring
Traffic sign recognition
Seven airbags

Optional equipment includes the Travel Assist 3.0 system, which can react to traffic lights, assist in traffic jams and support semi-autonomous driving.

Android-based infotainment and MyŠkoda app

At the centre of the Epiq is a new Android-based infotainment system with a 13-inch touchscreen. The system supports:

Smartphone integration
Digital key functionality

The MyŠkoda app allows users to remotely monitor charging, control climate settings and manage various EV-related functions.
