Estonian basketball team's Škoda Kodiaqs go on sale – drive home your favourite player's car
Ten Škoda Kodiaqs used by Estonia's national basketball team this summer are on sale at Rohe Auto, with 1,900–7,000 km and up to €4,840 off the new price. For every car, you know which player drove it.
The players have returned to their clubs for the new season, and their cars are back at the Rohe Auto showroom in Tallinn. Ten of them have gone on sale at once. Rohe Auto has been the official car partner of the Estonian Basketball Association since 2018. During national team windows, players get the cars for their own use to drive to practices and games. This summer, the team had 13 new Škoda Kodiaqs at its disposal.
Nearly new cars with low mileage
The cars now on sale have between 1,900 and 7,000 kilometres on the clock. They come in a range of colours and trim levels, with powertrains from diesel to plug-in hybrid.
"When people buy a used car, they usually don't know exactly who drove it before. With these cars, the answer is right there – you can even choose the Kodiaq your favourite player drove," said Agata Rosenberg, Head of Marketing at Rohe Auto. "Besides the unique backstory, these are low-mileage, nearly new cars priced up to 4,840 euros below a new one."
Who drove the team's Kodiaqs?
This summer, the national team's Kodiaqs were driven by players and coaches Artur Konontšuk, Kristian Kullamäe, Kregor Hermet, Siim-Sander Vene, Janari Jõesaar, Leemet Böckler, Matthias Tass, Sander Raieste, Joonas Riismaa, Kaspar Treier, Heiko Rannula, Toomas Annuk and Jukka Toijala.
Why the Kodiaq?
The Kodiaq was also chosen for practical reasons: for tall athletes, space and comfort matter. National team player Joonas Riismaa said after the summer: "For me, the best thing about the Kodiaq is its space. It's the only car where you can seat five two-metre men without anyone feeling cramped, even in the back."
Where to see the cars
The cars can be viewed and test-driven at the Rohe Auto showroom in Tallinn, Sõpruse pst 151. All the national team cars on sale are listed on the Rohe Auto website.
