CUPRA Raval once again demonstrates how to push the boundaries of the automotive industry. It is not just another small-segment electric car. It is a radical interpretation of an urban electric vehicle. It proves that electric cars can lead design trends while delivering both performance and emotion.

CUPRA Raval marks the beginning of a new era, combining electrification and high-performance dynamics with striking design, advanced equipment, and extensive personalization options for drivers who value emotion and individuality.

CUPRA Raval redefines its segment by offering agile hatchback-like driving dynamics and performance, while also delivering the spaciousness and versatility typically associated with larger cars. At just 4 meters in length, Raval combines urban agility with a surprisingly roomy interior and a practical, large luggage compartment—making it suitable for both city driving and longer journeys.

CUPRA Raval is designed, developed, and manufactured in Barcelona. It is based on the new MEB+ platform and is always front-wheel drive.

In Estonia, sales of CUPRA Raval begin with Endurance Launch versions, starting from €29,900. Versions with a smaller battery will arrive in late autumn, with a base price starting from €27,160. Warranty: 5 years / 100,000 km.

CUPRA Raval

Thanks to its dynamic form and elegant silhouette, CUPRA Raval immediately stands out with its distinctive character. Signature details further emphasize the car’s identity. Precise and agile driving dynamics provide a truly engaging driving experience, supported by CUPRA-specific technologies and innovations such as an electronic differential lock and DCC Sport suspension.

CUPRA’s sporty DNA is reflected in Raval’s low ride height, optimized suspension, and progressive steering, which together redefine the dynamics and driving potential of a compact electric car.

Vehicle dimensions: length 4,046 mm, width 1,784 mm, height 1,518 mm, wheelbase 2,600 mm. With its four-meter length, spacious interior, and 441-liter luggage compartment, Raval creates a new category where compact size meets practical capacity. A higher seating position and sporty ergonomics offer a new way to enjoy driving.

CUPRA Raval also offers extensive exterior personalization options. New colors and finishes—including the shimmering Plasma tone, exclusive matte colors (Manganese and Century Bronze), and two dual-tone roof combinations—allow drivers to express their individuality. Raval is the first CUPRA model to offer Plasma Iridescent paint, which shifts color in light from cyan and blue to indigo and pink. Eight different wheel designs are available in sizes from 17” to 19”.

Inside, multiple interior design options create unique atmospheres. The lighting system adapts to driving conditions and the driver’s mood. Selectable ambient lighting modes offer seven different environments, where colors and dynamic animations enhance the cockpit experience.

Interaction between driver and vehicle is elevated by Smart Light Next Generation, integrated into the dashboard and providing visual feedback for driver assistance systems, such as blind spot monitoring. Dynamic animations also respond to features like E-Launch activation. Additional highlights include dynamic door patterns—an industry-first solution where a dashboard projector displays animated graphics onto the door panels.

The cabin features a 12.9” infotainment display with a new Android™-based operating system and a 10.25” digital instrument cluster with multiple views. The updated steering wheel combines physical buttons with paddles for drive mode selection and sporty gear shifting.

An optional 12-speaker Sennheiser sound system and E-Launch function enhance the driving experience with authenticity and emotion—technologies typically found only in the premium segment (standard on Endurance Launch Plus and VZ Launch Extreme).

The Group Store provides direct access to third-party applications. Drivers can watch videos (e.g. YouTube while parked) and listen to music via platforms such as Spotify. Connectivity is enabled through My CUPRA app integration, allowing control of vehicle functions via smartphone—from climate preconditioning (“Refresh & Warm up”) to interior lighting. A 15 W wireless charger and powerful USB-C ports ensure seamless connectivity.

The CUPRA Raval powertrain is engineered for top performance. The sport suspension is 15 mm lower than the standard version and is complemented by a finely tuned setup, 10 mm wider track, progressive steering, and ESC Sport—making Raval an exceptionally fun car to drive.

One-pedal driving enables smooth and intuitive deceleration, allowing the vehicle to come to a complete stop without using the brake pedal—especially useful in urban traffic.

Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) allows the car to be used as a mobile power source for devices such as laptops or e-bikes. The digital user experience is managed via the My CUPRA app or the navigation system, which integrates smart features such as a route planner and Plug & Charge—public charging without cards or separate apps at more than 1,000,000 charging points across 28 European countries.

Safety features include 7 airbags, including a center airbag for side impacts. A multifunction interior camera monitors driver alertness. The smart parking assistant automatically handles parallel and perpendicular parking. Remote Park Assist allows parking via smartphone. Rear Traffic Alert detects approaching vehicles from the side, while the Top View Camera provides a 360° view.

The optional Pre Crash system responds to potential collisions from the front, rear, and sides by tightening seat belts, closing windows and the sunroof, and activating hazard lights.

Additional technologies include adaptive front seat belts, Pedal Missed Operation System (stops the car if the driver presses the accelerator instead of the brake), automatic Workshop Call, and Emergency Assist, which safely slows and stops the vehicle if the driver becomes incapacitated.

The new Travel Assist can navigate even on roads without lane markings, adjust speed according to traffic conditions, and respond to road signs and traffic lights.

NEW Raval VZ: THE BEAST AWAKENS

The new CUPRA Raval VZ is the most powerful, radical, and sporty version of the model range. Output is 166 kW (226 hp), torque 290 Nm, top speed 175 km/h, and acceleration from 0–100 km/h in under 6.8 seconds. It uses a 52 kWh battery with an approximate range of 439 km (WLTP).

Exclusive features include Dinamica® sport seats, stiffer DCC Sport suspension (+5%), ESC OFF mode, 19” wheels, 235 mm tires, electronic differential lock, and the E-Launch function.
