The Most Expensive Cars Registered in Estonia in April: Mercedes-Benz AMG G 63 Tops the List with a Registration Fee Exceeding €11,000
The ranking of the most expensive vehicles registered in April clearly shows that interest in powerful luxury cars, performance SUVs, and exclusive models remains strong in Estonia. The high registration fees mainly reflect large engines, high CO₂ emissions, and the vehicles’ position in the luxury segment.
The vehicle with the highest registration fee in April was the MERCEDES BENZ AMG G 63, whose registration cost reached an impressive €11,465. It is one of the most sought-after luxury SUVs, combining a powerful V8 engine, a luxurious interior, and strong off-road capability.
Second place went to the exclusive LAMBORGHINI REVUELTO, with a registration fee of €10,065. The Italian hybrid supercar is among the world’s most desirable sports cars, and its arrival in the Estonian vehicle registry shows that there is also demand here for ultra-luxury vehicles.
Third place in the ranking was taken by the MAN TGE with a registration fee of €9,777. This was not a standard van, but a passenger bus version equipped with seats, which may indicate a luxury shuttle bus or a converted premium-class vehicle. In the case of larger passenger transport vehicles, high CO₂ emissions and heavy weight can also lead to extremely high registration costs.
Fourth place went to the AUDI RS Q8, with a registration fee of €9,665. It was followed by the LAND ROVER DEFENDER with a fee of €9,565. Both models belong to the class of luxury high-performance SUVs, which continue to dominate the rankings of the highest registration fees.
The top ten also included two BENTLEY BENTAYGA models, the SPEED and V8 versions, with registration fees of €9,465 and €9,365 respectively. Bentley luxury SUVs combine high performance with premium comfort, which also comes with significant registration costs.
Luxury sedans were also represented in the ranking. The registration fee for the MERCEDES BENZ S 680 MAYBACH reached €8,802, once again confirming that owning a top-class luxury car in Estonia also means facing very high additional costs.
The ranking was completed by the TOYOTA LAND CRUISER and the PORSCHE PANAMERA GTS, whose registration fees were €8,665 and €7,735 respectively.
April’s statistics confirm that luxury SUVs, large-displacement engines, and exclusive premium models continue to dominate among vehicles with the highest registration fees. It also shows that the new tax rules are increasingly affecting the registration costs of both luxury vehicles and larger special-purpose vehicles in Estonia.
