One of Tallinn’s Most Powerful Electric Vehicle Chargers Opened at Lasnamäe Centrum
Lasnamäe Centrum’s new charging area, built by Enefit, includes a total of eight charging points with a combined output of 1,280 kW. Chargers with up to 240 kW of power enable significantly faster charging of electric vehicle batteries and meet the growing demand for high-capacity public charging infrastructure.
“With the new solution, the 750-space parking area at Lasnamäe Centrum now offers modern and fast charging options, making visits to the shopping centre considerably more convenient while supporting our goal of providing customers with the best possible visitor experience,” said Reimo Simsalu, Head of Real Estate and Business Development at Capfield OÜ.
“Enefit’s goal is to make electric vehicle charging as convenient and accessible as possible — near people’s homes, workplaces, and while travelling. That is why we are expanding the charging network in locations where people move daily and where demand for charging is the highest. Lasnamäe Centrum is an excellent location for this,” said Robert Kutsar, Head of Charging Infrastructure and Partnerships at Enefit.
“Lasnamäe Centrum is currently being renewed and developed in several directions simultaneously,” added Reimo Simsalu. “In addition to the new electric vehicle chargers outside, the centre will also welcome new stores from two well-known brands — Sinsay and Skechers. Already in June, we will reopen the renovated NS King store and a newly expanded Euronics concept store.”
The owner of Lasnamäe Centrum, Capfield OÜ, is investing more than five million euros into the renovation and modernization of the shopping centre.
Capfield OÜ is a shopping centre owner and developer with one of the largest retail property portfolios in Estonia, covering locations from central Tallinn to suburban districts and extending outside Tallinn to Pärnu.
