Abc Motors starts selling DongFeng vehicles in Estonia
The completion of Abc Motors’ new used car center in Harku, at Aia põik 2, created the spatial conditions for adding another car brand to our product range. In cooperation with the Latvian importer WESS Select AS, Abc Motors is now the official DongFeng dealer in Estonia. In addition to DongFeng models, the product lineup also includes several sub-brands – Forthing, Voyah, and M-Hero – a total of 14 different models.
DongFeng is a long-established Chinese car manufacturer with over 55 years of history and has cooperated with numerous Japanese and European automakers such as Honda, Renault, Nissan, Citroën, and Peugeot. With 127,000 employees, DongFeng produces more than 4 million vehicles annually, over a quarter of which are exported. Established in 1991, the WESS Auto Group is a dealer for Toyota, Lexus, and Honda in Latvia and has been representing DongFeng since 2024. Since 2003, the main activities of Abc Motors have been the sale and maintenance of Renault and Dacia vehicles, used car sales, and body repair services.
According to Abc Motors’ marketing manager Indrek Luberg, they were particularly impressed by DongFeng’s wide product range: “The lineup of four different brands is truly impressive – from small fully electric city cars to luxurious MPVs and SUVs. The range of powertrains is also diverse, including traditional internal combustion engines, hybrids, and fully electric vehicles.” The price of the most affordable petrol model, the DongFeng Shine, starts at 20,500 euros, while at the top of the model range sits the large, fully electric, all-wheel-drive SUV M-Hero 917 with 800 kW of power, priced from 174,000 euros. Luberg has no doubts about the quality and reliability of Chinese manufacturing: “The build quality and materials are excellent, as are the technical specifications. DongFeng has been producing cars for decades, and there is no reason to question their quality. A solid factory warranty – 5 years or 150,000 km – also provides additional reassurance. The arrival of Chinese car manufacturers in Europe is as natural as the arrival of South Korean brands like Kia or Hyundai once was. Not all brands will stay here, but major players like DongFeng certainly will.” In Latvia, 109 DongFeng vehicles have already been sold this year.
